I don't know what drove the OP's choice, but there are things to consider.Although I have complete confidence in Brett's Engineering, the BDE kit has requirements you have to be ok with. BDE kit requires: machining of the plenum/balance tube (You send in cores, no prob) machining of the lower plenum (Core, no prob) Loss of cruise control (no way to keep it) So the catches for me were pretty big. I didn't want to replace my lower plenum, no way I wanted to deal with my timing belt (idler is on plenum)or the possibility of replacing the mega expensive plum-to-head gaskets.
^IF however you wanted to do a 120k and replace your knock sensor at the same time, no big deal, you gain the advantage of the plenum being machined to DIRECTLY receive the injectors! I also can't stand to lose cruise control. What the hell good is a touring car like the Z without cruise? IF you want to make a drag rocket or track car it is no problem at all. If it weren't for the 2 caveats I would not have even blinked before ordering Brett's kit. I'm not sure what's driving the OP.
Like I said, I think Brett makes a great kit, each has to weigh the advantages/disadvantages for themselves. (Just like going top or side feed)
